Use of Premises for marriages and cultural events

 

The Municipal Administration may grant the use of some areas in the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle to celebrate civil marriages and for events of particular importance regarding culture and tourism.

Celebration of civil marriages

The premises are granted for the celebration of civil marriages only in the period from 1st April to 30th September. The request must be presented to the Registrar’s Office of the Municipality of Cividale del Friuli (tel. +39 0432 710214).

 

 

 

 

Ventures of exceptional importance for culture and/or tourism

 

To use the premises of the Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle for ventures of exceptional importance for culture and/or tourism the request must be presented to the Office for Culture of the Municipality of Cividale del Friuli (tel. +39 0432 710350)
Refectory + Cloister + other rooms on the ground floor: € 850,00.- plus V.A.T. as required by Law;
Refectory: € 450,00.- plus V.A.T. as required by Law;
Cloister: € 400,00.- plus V.A.T. as required by Law;
Fireplace room + adjoining room: € 50,00.- plus V.A.T. as required by Law;
Church of San Giovanni in Valle: (V.A.T. as required by Law must be added to the above rates):
Cultural events that do not offend the sacred nature of the place (to he held in the opening hours of the museum complex, but without assistance service):
      - event with free admission, half day (morning, afternoon or evening) €. 120,00.-
      - event with free admission, all day €. 180,00.-
      - event with admission fee, half day (morning, afternoon or evening) €. 220,00.-
      - event with admission fee, all day €. 350,00.-
- Exhibitions of sacred art or of subjects not contradictory with the sacred nature of the place (to he held in the opening hours of the museum complex, but without assistance on the premises);
- exhibition with free admission € 60,00.- (per day) for the days open to the public
- exhibition with admission fee € 85,00.- (per day) for the days open to the public
- setting up and occupying premises €. 15,00.- (per day) for the days when the exhibition is closed to the public
*Irrespective of the type of concession, for use in extraordinary hours (hours when the entire complex is closed to the public), the services of opening/closing the premises and assistance for the event must be carried out by an external company and are calculated at a rate of euro 15,50 per hour plus VAT.
For events requiring complex installations, the competent offices are authorised to ask for a one-off payment of a security deposit of euro 500,00 to be paid with procedures approved by law 5 days prior to the use of the premises. The deposit will be returned at the end of use, after checking that the spaces and furnishings are intact.
